How PSL Drafts Work

Each team first announces its retained players, who won’t be part of the draft. The PCB then releases the player list, categories, and pick order. Teams select players in multiple rounds based on this order.
Key Points:
- Retention & Releases: Teams retain some players and drop others for the draft.
- Pick Order: PCB announces the draft sequence, and teams plan accordingly.
- Revoking Picks: A team can reclaim a dropped player if another franchise picks them, but it costs them their turn.
- Trades: Teams can trade pick orders by exchanging players before the draft.
